Pillar 4 of 5
A festival of diversity — where Romanian and Székely traditions dress in vibrant colours, authentic rhythms and stories passed down through generations.
Covasna County is a unique space of multicultural coexistence — Romanians and Székelys have lived together for centuries, sharing traditions, customs and a fascinating cuisine. Taste of Covasna celebrates this cultural richness through a varied artistic programme, with performances, folk dance, traditional music and community activities that unite generations and ethnicities.
Székely folk dance and music ensembles — traditional costumes, authentic choreographies and customs of the Kezdi region.
Romanian artistic groups presenting authentic folklore from Transylvania and across Romania — dance, costume and music.
Concerts with authentic Székely and Romanian folk music, folk bands, fiddlers and traditional music performers.
Varied artistic programmes on the main stage and secondary stages — for all ages and tastes.
Demonstrations of traditional crafts: pottery, weaving, wood carving, embroidery and authentic local handicrafts.
Joint Romanian-Székely programmes celebrating coexistence, intercultural dialogue and Covasna's unique identity.
The Cultural Stage Area is the artistic heart of the festival — a large stage and multiple secondary stages where performances take place over the 3 days, from morning to evening.
